My style of photography is a marriage of unobtrusive photojournalism with artistic glamour portraiture. My background has naturally led me to this particular style. After studying for a diploma in Digital Media I worked as a Photojournalist in the magazine industry for many years before moving into a position as a Photographer in a busy commercial portrait studio.

My photojournalism experience has given me the ability and perspective to be able to document action as it plays out with a view to capturing the most important bits, as unobtrusively as possible. Added to this my studio experience has given me a wealth of knowledge regarding correct lighting, modeling and posing techniques to maximize a positive body image. The glamour element is my own addition - as a woman I know how fantastic it feels to see a picture of yourself that could have come out of the pages of a fashion magazine!

I add to this mix creative knowledge and technical experience - I use only pro level Nikon cameras with the fastest lenses available on the market today to get the sharpest, crispest pictures even in low light. Once the photographs are captured I use state of the art software to allow me to artistically interpret the images of your day without changing the essence of the image.
